Acurit Legal stands for what its name embodies — acumen and grit. Led by Anu Bagai, a dispute resolution specialist, with over two decades of experience, the Chamber is founded on the belief that legal advice should stem from a deep understanding of each client’s unique needs, rather than generic templates. Dispute Resolution
We represent clients in civil, commercial, corporate, and contractual disputes before all forums—civil and commercial courts, tribunals, and appellate bodies. In addition, our litigation practice includes writs, public interest litigation (PILs), and execution proceedings, offering strategic representation from initial filing through trial, appeal, and enforcement.
Intellectual Property
We help clients protect their creative and brand assets through trademark, copyright, and design registrations. Our services include handling infringement matters, drafting licensing agreements, and advising on IP strategy and portfolio management—ensuring your intellectual property is secure, enforceable, and aligned with your business and creative goals.
Consumer Law
We represent clients in all kinds of consumer disputes including builder delays, e-commerce fraud, non-delivery of goods, false advertisement and medical negligence. From filing complaints before consumer commissions and RERA to securing refunds, possession or compensation, we provide strategic legal support to protect your rights against deficient products or services as well as unfair trade practices.
Property Disputes
We handle property disputes involving partitions, family property divisions, inheritance, and ownership claims, as well as conflicts between buyers, sellers, landlords, tenants, and developers. Our services include suits for partition, possession, injunctions, and specific performance, and address issues arising from sale agreements, tenancy, joint ownership, or development delays.
Arbitration
We assist clients in resolving commercial and contractual disputes through arbitration—an efficient, private alternative to court litigation. From drafting arbitration agreements to representing you before arbitral tribunals and courts, we ensure your case is managed strategically, helping achieve timely and cost-effective dispute resolution.
Employment Law
We advise on employment contracts, workplace policies, termination, severance, and regulatory compliance. Our services cover disputes related to unfair dismissal, wage claims, and disciplinary action. We also assist with POSH compliance and represent employers and employees before labour authorities, ensuring fair practices and protection of legal rights.
Estate Planning and Succession Disputes
We advise on all aspects of estate planning, including wills, succession, inheritance, and family settlements. Our services cover drafting, registration, and execution of wills, as well as advising on and contesting their validity. We also handle probate petitions, letters of administration, and estate administration matters, ensuring smooth transfer of assets and resolution of disputes arising from succession or inheritance.
Contract Drafting & Advisory
We meticulously draft, review, and negotiate an extensive spectrum of agreements encompassing Vendor, Employment, Lease, Sale, Talent, Collaboration, Intellectual Property Licensing, Non-Disclosure, Consulting, Distribution, Service, Agency etc. Our services ensure enforceability, and comprehensive risk mitigation across a broad range of sectors.
Corporate Law
We handle litigation work including shareholder disputes, breach of director duties, company mismanagement, minority oppression claims, regulatory non-compliance, contract enforcement, partnership disputes, corporate fraud, winding-up petitions, insolvency proceedings and any other disputes related to the affairs of the Company.
Careers
We offer a year-round internship programme for law students who are looking to gain hands-on experience in a professional legal environment. Interns work closely with our team across various practice areas, assisting in research, drafting, and case preparation. Due to the nature of our work and our commitment to providing a meaningful learning experience, we accept a maximum of four interns at any given time. As a result, placements are subject to availability and may be scheduled based on ongoing requirements.
